An avant-garde take on "American Gothic", "a•bout-face" is a diptych of a Native-American man and a Midwestern-American woman, side-by-side. The intention is to complete a triptych, including a portrait of an African-American man. The concept arose from the idea that people often about-turn from race, culture, age, and gender, that challenge societal norms.

These portraits engage the viewer head on without self-consciousness by an intriguing use of colour and the unique method of its application to reveal the subject's heart, mind, and spirt - ultimately helping the viewers to discover the plight of their neighbours and their own.
It is by sacrificing the charming softer accords and risking the intensity of the absoluteness of pure colour that a more abstract and freer style is revealed - one independent of nature and tradition.
The Dispossessed are works of art that make suffering and tribulation palpable so that people cannot overlook or excuse it; works of art that will make people say of it: that man feels deeply.

Seven Solitudes is to re-shape the landscapes that I see and in faith set them free.
To recycle, re-purpose, and re-imagine material that was destined for the landfill. To release the textures, organic patterns and colour in the factory machined used sandpaper.

Mickplicity is an original one of a kind Photo biographical montage chronicling one of the most fabled and beloved Bronx Bombers of all time... Mickey Charles Mantle.
Created by professional, contemporary artist E.B. Ricci, Mickplicity measures 4 feet by 6 feet and is printed on a 1/8 inch thick aluminium sheet then hand painted in sections with high gloss oils. The finished work captures moments in the Mick's hall of fame 18 year career along with complexities, triumphs and tribulations of his life.
Incorporating from his private collection a late 1950's early 60's unpublished and unseen black & white photograph taken by acclaimed Pulitzer Prize nominated LIFE photographer Arthur B. Rickerby.
Ricci's Mickplicity subverts photographic and graphic statements with imaginative juxtaposition to create a new pictorial reality, as practiced by Picasso, Braque and other Cubists and Futurists that came before.

"Harmony & Promise" is the offspring from the coupling of Picasso's "Les Desmoiselles d'avignon" and Matisse's "Le Bonheur de Vivre". From these classic works of art come an original oil painting that embodies "The Spirit of Ontario" by having two diverse cultures with two distinct voices harmonizing in graceful thirds to reveal a song that is uniquely Canadian - one that is filled with "Harmony & Promise".
